The Centre for Strategic Leadership’s mandate is to serve as a focal point for strategic leadership* grant proposal development and research. It promotes Laurier’s considerable expertise and accomplishments in leadership-related scholarship. The Centre’s capacity for strategic leadership is expanded through research, working paper series, conferences, roundtables and speaker series.

* Strategic leadership involves determining strategic direction, presenting a vision, creative problem solving, developing and managing human capital, change management, exploiting and maintaining core competencies, sustaining an effective culture, emphasizing ethical practices, and establishing strategic control.
